His journey began in 1977, when he was captivated by the Star Trek game on the Radio Shack TRS-80 microcomputer. This fascination led him to purchase one of the first TRS-80s. Eventually that led him to the creation of Access-80, an online Bulletin Board System (BBS) that was one of the earliest of its kind. On it, fellow computer enthusiasts could meet and share ideas.
Charles’s passion
for technology – and his desire to help others navigate the digital world – culminated with the establishment of CharlesWorks in 1998.
